Siri, Amy, and Anna found each other in a quaint town surrounded by majestic mountains, radiant wildflowers, and a beautiful river. The three of us have worked together closely as a midwifery team for years as Snohomish Midwives, where we have formed a deep bond with each other and our clients.

We each earned our Masters of Science in Midwifery from a three-year program at Bastyr University. We are also licensed in the state of Washington and certified through the National Association of Certified Professional Midwives. Collectively, we have caught hundreds of babies in homes and free-standing birth centers across Snohomish and King Counties.

While none of us are from Snohomish originally, we have grown roots and purpose here. We have experienced the joys of home births all over the County. We have also talked many clients through the difficult decision of whether to birth at home, which can be a great distance from a hospital, or to drive a long way to a birth center while in labor. The need for a birth center in Everett, the seat of our County, became increasingly clear. And, just as we were looking seriously into starting a center from scratch, the retired Cascade Birth Center space on Colby Avenue became available to us. We are deeply thankful for the chance to pour our hearts and experience into creating your local Everett Birth Center, and we couldn’t do it without the wonderful community we have cultivated over the years.
